The X Factor USA’s judging panel continues to provide endless speculation, and it’s now been alleged by a US tabloid that Jennifer Lopez is being chased by producers.
The ‘Dance Again’ star is of course two years into her tenure at American Idol, and Simon Cowell’s people are apparently seeing money as no object as far as topping her $20 million salary is concerned.
What’s more, it has been claimed that Simon will love seeing J-Lo and heavily-rumoured fellow signing Britney Spears competing for his affection. A so-called insider says: “Simon loves playing his girls against each other and Britney and Jen will be battling for his approval as his favorite.”
A rep for the singer/actress/wanted judge has told Gossip Cop that the whole rumour is “inaccurate”, so it looks like there is very little (if any) truth to it.
It was alleged over the weekend that Britney and Leona Lewis will be announced by SyCo as Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul’s replacements on Monday, but nothing ever came of it.
