They could have at least made a big crash out of it to spice it up, but no. It was a stationary skip that was crashed into, which didn’t exactly make my heart race. After doing that, everyone comforted Neil but after he told them all he had never actually passed his test, the tables were turned and he went straight in to the dog house. They even made him walk all the way home. Cruel really, as they did put a mountain of pressure on him to pass but let’s face it… you cannot learn to drive and pass your test in the space of a week; it’s never going to happen. Their festival dreams were over and they headed back to the village. They didn’t seem too annoyed that they missed it though; guess they were happy to still be alive considering.
Jono has definitely been chucked with full force out of my good books. At first he appeared sweet and awkward but now he’s just plain horrible. He’s simply using Ruby and however annoying her character is, I still feel sorry for her. He’s asked her to keep their relationship a secret because it’s ‘exciting.’ Yeah right. How can she even believe that crap? It’s ridiculous.
And what do we think about Cindy kissing Darren? They definitely do suit each other but that was way in the past. Despite Nancy being bossy and a tad annoying at times, I think she’s good for Darren and so far she’s kept him on the straight and narrow. Darren did push Cindy away but he definitely lingered a little. How clichéd was Cindy running out of the bridal dress shop with the dress on though?! Glad Darren didn’t exactly chase after her, more wandered out. Cindy had her chance with him and she chose to get money from an old man on his death bed instead. The tragic thing was, after a heart breaking (or not) conversation between Cindy and Darren, they had a friendly, meaningless goodbye kiss which Nancy saw. NOT GOOD. Since her mum has been trying to fill her head with doubts and Darren’s been off gallivanting organising this wedding, he’s never around anymore. Could the wedding be off for good?
The only piece of humour which definitely brightened my day was Brendan’s way of eating a pie. It was priceless… Just shoving the whole thing in his mouth at once and smearing it all over his tash was disgusting, yet you find yourself wishing you had the courage to do that in public, not caring what anyone thought of you!
What’s coming up next?
Ruby breaks it off with Jono (thank goodness) but let’s face it, he’s going to want her back again! Valentine’s day will probably get his emotions astir and they may reunite for a kiss.
Nancy’s evil mum is still trying to convince her to ditch Darren and she might actually succeed. NO! Nancy disappears on her wedding day (of course) but she does find out about the secret wedding, so can she forgive Darren and get down that aisle? Fingers crossed.
In other news baby FOX (Joel) is back but will he come seeking revenge as Brendan did put his Dad in prison? Can’t wait to find out…
