The ridiculously lovely Emeli Sande filled in for Sia at the weekend as David Guetta “performed” his hit ‘Titanium’ at the NRJ Music Awards.
The Cannes-based ceremony, which is the French equivalent of the Grammy Awards or the BRITs, also hosted performances from the eclectic bunch of Shakira, Coldplay, Mika and LMFAO. Shakira was given the Award of Honour.
‘Titanium’ is currently No1 on UK iTunes and is battling Alyssa Reid’s ‘Alone Again’ for this week’s official chart-topper. Cover Drive are the defending champions with ‘Twilight’.
Don’t songs like ‘Titanium’ and ‘Without You’ just go to show that, when not churning out bullshit like ‘Sexy Bitch’ and ‘Where Them Girls At’, David Guetta can actually be really good?
