Tonight’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother was as dramatic as the Emma/Michelle/Victor clash and as sensational as Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty’s showdown.
When Denise Welch playfully pulled down Karissa Shannon’s pyjama trousers, all hell broke loose.
The Playboy twin freaked out, scorned Romeo for making light of the situation and fled to the diary room threatening to sue producers.
“I want to leave. I’m ready to go now, I wanna go home,” she said. “I’m done with Frankie’s sexual harassment, he sexually harasses me every day, and I want to go home.
“Denise just tried to pull down my pants for no reason. She knows I’m one of the most reserved people in the house, I’m the classy woman of the house. I do not do that type of stuff.”
She continued: “You’re gonna show my ass on TV, that’s for sure. I’m not cool with that so I’m going to sue you guys. My management’s not gonna be OK with this, and I know you guys roll your cameras 24 hours a day, and I know you got that shot. You’re going to show that, and I’m going to sue you for it, so I want to leave now.
“I’m serious. This isn’t some stupid s**t. I’m p***ed off.”
While she sat chatting away in the Diary Room, the drama was continuing in the main house.
Denise and Nicola were soon at loggerheads when Denise let rip her frustration from earlier in the day (when Nicola jokily accused her of lying over her participation in a spelling bee task). Their fight – a proper old-school slanging match – ended with Denise sitting in tears in the garden and Nicola screaming at Big Brother, demanding to be let out of the house.
When Karissa could eventually be ushered out of the diary room so Nicola could go in, both twins and the divisive WAG ended up sharing the famous chair – with Nicola issuing a dramatic Lord Of The Rings “THIS DAY WE FIGHT!” style speech about how they may be models but they “ain’t whores”.
She has, after all, only slept with three people (and, amazingly, ‘Slept with 3′ became a Twitter trending topic within minutes.
Just as it seemed to be simmering down, Denise and Nicola got going AGAIN, with Nicola losing track of who she was talking to when she barked at Frankie for getting involved and then at Denise for getting involved with her telling Frankie not to get involved. IS THIS EVEN MAKING ANY SENSE?!
Gareth and Romeo (or “Romes” as Denise brilliantly calls him, even in times of dire trouble) may have had their legendary moments, but it was definitely Frankie who emerged from tonight as the champion.
The unlikely hero was valiant in his defence of Denise and, despite getting a bit irritating with all the “‘AVE IT! GET IN THERE!” nonsense at successfully spelling the word ‘Pollen’, probably spoke some of the most sense.
When ‘Go Frankie’ becomes a Twitter trend, you know times are bad.
