Little Mix are still comfortably at No. 1 in the midweek charts, but Coldplay‘s ‘Paradise’ has enjoyed a sales increase at No. 2. I’ll be surprised if it closes the gap by Sunday given the girlband got off to a 2:1 start on Monday, but stranger things have happened.
Sales of Leona Lewis‘ ‘Hurt’ have dropped off as the week has progressed. It’s slid right down the iTunes rankings but, as far as the cumulative midweeks are concerned, it’s only dropped the one place since yesterday and is now No. 4.
The X Factor Effect continues to wear off for Damien Rice, the charity single and En Vogue, as the three drop to 14, 16, and 19 respectively, from 11, 14 and 16 earlier in the week.
The only other noticeable change today is that Rizzle Kicks have rocketed up to No. 26 with ‘Mama Do The Hump’.
It’s still a Very Buble Christmas on the album charts, with Jai McDowall still absent from the Top 40.
