Hollyoaks De-Brief: Silas prepares to kill again…

Airdate: Monday 24th October 2011

Trash Lounge‘s brand new Hollyoaks specialist Becca Oram dissects the evening’s events, and looks ahead at what’s to come in a dramatic week for the soap…

So this week is set to be an absolute thriller on Hollyoaks as the spooky Silas storyline reaches an epic climax! (YAY at last!!) Friday night’s episode, titled ‘Fright Night’, is set to have us all quaking in our boots as Silas prepares to kill another.

This evening’s episode (Mon 24th) saw Silas set up his twisted game as poor poor Lynsey is given an offer she literally CANNOT refuse. He’s chosen another target who he desires to kill, and given Lynsey the lovely job of discovering who it is before it’s too late!

Loving Lynsey’s frantic hitting of Silas today, not that that’s going to help the situation. Wasn’t it frustrating that Ethan didn’t see him grab her, he was RIGHT THERE!!

Mercedes has got herself into a right mess AGAIN and is doomed to death by the Grim reaper of Hollyoaks; surely Silas can’t kill again, surely? How lovely of Silas to spare Mercedes’ baby before killing her though, like that’s going to make her feel any better… He really is one crazy old man!

Maddie is so unbelievably manipulative. She clearly still has ‘the hots’ for Bart. Sinead must be blind if she thinks Gaz is a better catch, bleurgh!

Elsewhere, Lee has sacrificed his ‘dream job’ for his love of Amy (awww ) and guilt over taking Ste’s children away from him. How noble! This seems like a pretty big decision to make considering his new ‘genius’ idea of RAP apps was simple AWFUL… just no Lee, no! Darren offers no sympathy for Lee, with the episode ending on him playing ‘New York’ by Alicia Keys. Oh Darren really is hilarious (NOT!), and also…

An absolute classic line from Darren in the pub but in response, Darren you are STILL ‘the village idiot.’ PRESENT.Not past.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Texas, Theresa, Amy and Lynsey herself are the potential targets of Silas’ Halloween spooktacular, each marked with a chess piece that he’s hidden near them. Isn’t he obsessed with chess?! Lynsey also confides in Doug about Silas and shows him the chess piece, the question is…Will he believe her? We hope so.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
