Hugo Taylor quits Made In Chelsea; Cheska Hull considers following

Made In Chelsea has been renewed for a fourth season, but up to four cast members will not be appearing.

The fact that it’s taken so long for E4 to make an announcement had got fans panicked, but the reason for the setback is the Olympics. With so many tourists in town, producers will not be allowed to film until September.

And definitely out of the picture is Hugo Taylor, a familiar face from the very first season.

He tells Now: “I’m quitting. It’s a big gamble but I think I might have outgrown the show. Originally the producers only wanted me as a peripheral character and that’s all I wanted to contribute. I could wind up having absolutely everything or I could end up with nothing. But I’ve become lazy and comfortable on the show.

“I often look at what I’ve done and think, ‘S**t, did I completely sell out?’ Staying on Made In Chelsea and bitching about the colour of someone’s dress has started to become unimportant to me. I’m 26 – the show works better with people under 24. It becomes harder to do these shows as you get older. I started thinking I need to do something credible that I’m proud of.”

Additionally out of the frame is Professor Green, who won’t be making any more cameos with girlfriend Millie Mackintosh, and – allegedly – Kimberley Garner, following a violent row with Harriet Loder.

Finally, it’s also been reported that Francesca Hull – ‘Cheska’ – is mulling over her future on the show.

She told Bang Showbiz: “I’m not sure if I’m going to be in the next series but we’ll see. I’m having a lot of meetings with people but we’ll see what happens. I’m relieved and happy to have wrapped on that series, it got a bit much and was quite dramatic. It was tough but it was good fun at the same time.”

Made In Chelsea will return in the autumn. Spencer Matthews’ departure has already been confirmed.
