Lots of Upfront presentations are going on over in the US at the mo, but none so interesting as the Fox one. Why? Because it is thought the X Factor USA judges will finally be revealed.

9:00 (4:00) – It’s all about to kick off. Lots of fancy lights. A photo of Simon Cowell on screens.
9:07 (4:07) – Lots of Fox stars are on stage. Mila Kunis reppin’ it for Family Guy. Randy Jackson is there without J-Lo or Steven Tyler for Idol. And The X Factor? Obviously they are keeping us waiting a bit longer.
9:09 (4:09) – A loooot more from Glee this year than last year.
9:10 (4:10) – Remember the Upfronts last year when Cheryl, Nicole, Paula and Steve seemed so fresh-faced and excited to be there? OH HOW TIMES CHANGE.
9:20 (4:20) – Apparently New Girl is a “perfect example” of a modern-day TV success because so many of its ratings don’t come from the live broadcast. Online, catch-up services blablabla
9:34 (4:34) – The big Comedy Night is being explored. Tuesdays will have a block of hilarious shows on back-to-back, including New Girl - clips being shown with Pink’s ‘Raise Your Glass’ as a backing. EPIC.
9:38 (4:38) Urggggh yes these comedies are all well and good but WHO’S ON THE CHUFFING X FACTOR
9:40 (4:40) Just think. Britney and Demi could be backstage right now having a cup of coffee and a doughnut, well aware that people all over the world are desperate for them to just poke their heads out onto the stage and go “Oh yeah, by the way, we’re doing X Factor“.
9:42 (4:42) Focus has turned to a new comedy called Ben and Kate, from the director of New Girl.
9:43 (4:43) IT’S OFFICIAL!
9:56 (4:56) Britney and Demi are finally onstage at the Upfronts. Nobody is remotely surprised. No word on the host…
9:57 (4:57) They are “excited”, “stoked” etc etc. Britney doesn’t seem particularly lively, as predicted. DON’T LET US DOWN, BRIT!
10:02 (5:02) Putting XF on hold for just a second, Take Me Out is heading to the US!! No way! Amazing.
10:03 (5:03) Simon has said The X Factor will “kick butt”, and that’s just about it from them!
10:06 (5:06) So, to conclude, Britney says “I’m ready to find the true star”, while Lovato gushes “It’s an honor to be standing next to you” to Simon and adds: “It’s an honor to represent my generation.”
