Isn’t it annoying when incredible pop songs have disappointing videos?
The teaser clips for Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ had been incredibly promising, but it turns out that whole snippet campain was a red herring. The video opens with that concept, then cuts out and starts again completely from the top of the song with a bog-standard hanging-out-with-loads-of-girls type thing.
OK, it’s cool that it’s just a simple video, and there’s nothing concretely wrong with it… but why tease us with something completely different for weeks and weeks and weeks if it’s actually not going to be that different from your everday clip?
